I just finished up my VPP goal for the year. I really found setting this goal helpful as motivation to put in more volume. For now, I’m looking forward to taking it relatively easy for the remainder of 2010. 🙂

I found a chart on 2plus2 that shows the equivalent rake-back of the PokerStars VIP program.

VPPs earned / equivalent rake back
100,000 / 37%
200,000 / 41%
300,000 / 43%
400,000 / 44%
500,000 / 45%
600,000 / 46%
700,000 / 47%
800,000 / 48%
1,000,000 / 58%

So I earned an equivalent rakeback of about 46% this year which I am really happy about. Most other sites offer rakeback of 25-35%. There is somewhat of an offset given that the competition on PokerStars is a little tougher than the smaller sites. But still, the combination of consistently running games and a great reward system makes PokerStars my #1 poker site of choice. < /PokerStars plug>
